The Network Acute Oncology/ Chemotherapy Group is comprised of the following representatives from each of the 5 Peninsula trusts; acute oncology leads, chemotherapy clinical leads, oncology  pharmacists, chemotherapy nurses and other specified personnel directly involved in the delivery of chemotherapy services.

It is chaired by Mr Nigel Acheson - Medical Director PCN/ Consultant Gynaecologist at RD&E.

Oncology nurse and pharmacist groups are sub-committees which feed into the agenda for this group.

The chemotherapy group is referred to as a ‘cross-cutting’ group in the national peer review measures because it liaises with the tumour groups where chemotherapy is a treatment modality
