Network Site Specific & Cross Cutting Groups

The Network supports 13 tumour site specific groups (NSSG's) and 12 cross-cutting and working groups (NCCG's).

Each group comprises of members from the multi disciplinary teams in each Trust, patient representatives and Network staff to ensure everyone is included in the decision making process as well as achieving clinical agreement across the Peninsula.

These Network Groups provide clinical advice to the Executive Board through the development of Network referral and clinical guidelines, risk assessment and progress against meeting national targets and areas for service development. This helps inform commissioners of local and Network cancer services and the development of long term service improvements.
