Through collaboration across the Peninsula this project aims to change public behaviour to act on symptoms associated with lung cancer and facilitate prompt appropriate investigation in primary care so that earlier diagnosis of lung cancer occurs in the South West, leading to earlier staging and improved survival.
The Peninsula Cancer Network commissioned Forster to carry out a survey about awareness of lung cancer in selected areas of the Peninsula 2010.
