The Peninsula Cancer Network covers 4 Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and work collaboratively to facilitate;

• Leadership in line with the Cancer Plan in developing and commissioning cancer services
• Raising of standards of cancer care in Primary Care Organisations
• That services are responsive to the needs of people affected by cancer.

Primary Care Cancer Commissioners meet with the Network Senior Management Team within the Peninsula Cancer Network to ensure consistency in commissioning approaches and collaborate in contractual negotiations with provider organisations.
